Cooking Tips
For safety, snip the corner of the StayFresh microbag before cooking. This will allow some steam to escape and help retain color.
Cooking times (microwave)
- on small pack sizes of 8-16 oz. follow cooking directions on the bag. Total cooking time will vary depending on the wattage of your microwave, usually 3-5 minutes.
- on larger packs of 2 lbs. cook product for 5 minutes, flip bag and continue to cook, checking every 2 minutes for doneness.
To blanch - plunge cooked vegetables into cold or ice water to stop cooking and retain fresh, bright color.
