Recipes - Almond French Beans - Los Angeles Salad Company

Almond French Bean
Serves 4

Brussels Sprouts Salad

1 lb of Los Angeles Salad Company French Beans
3 minced garlic cloves
1/4 cup of almonds
1 tbsp of olive oil
1/4 cup of chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
1 tsp of freshly squeezed lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste


1. Heat oil over medium-high heat, in a large skillet.
2. Add Almonds, cook about one minute, then add garlic and continue cooking for approximately 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
3. Add French beans and broth and simmer covered over low heat for about 4-5 minutes.
4. Remove skillet from heat. Add lemon juice as well as salt and pepper to taste.
5. Stir and serve.
