As Grower, Packer and Shipper, we partner with our customers to grow produce for their specific needs. To maintain a good supply year-round, we transition seasonally to fields in different geographical locations.

Blue Lake Green Beans


Spicy Lemon & Garlic Green Beans

Brussels Sprouts Salad

Spicy Lemon & Garlic Green Beans
Serves 3 to 4


Ingredients
12 oz of Los Angeles Salad Company Blue Lake Green Beans
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tbsp of butter
2 minced garlic cloves
1 tsp of red pepper flakes
1 tbsp of lemon zest
salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. Cut the corner of the bag of green beans and microwave for 2 minutes, then open bag and plunge them in a bowl of ice water, to stop the cooking, for about 2 minutes. Drain the water and pat the beans dry.
2. Melt butter with olive oil over medium-high heat, in a large skillet.
3. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
4. Toss in green beans and sauté for about 3 minutes, making sure the beans are coated evenly.
6. Add salt, pepper, lemon juice and serve with lemon wedge.
